What i5 Benchmark results can—and cannot—support.

1. Independent positioning

i5 Benchmark is the methodology, scoring framework and reference standard behind the i5 Readiness Mapper. It is an independent initiative of Sustainable Intelligence / SUSTIN C.I.C. It does not claim endorsement by the European Union, any national authority, standards organisation or certification body.

2. Normative baseline

The initial benchmark compares responses to defined maturity descriptors. It is not based on an undisclosed peer dataset, does not provide a population percentile and should not be represented as statistically representative.

3. Self-reported information

Results depend on the scope, knowledge, interpretation and candour of respondents. Evidence confidence is a self-rating unless a separate, appropriately qualified review is undertaken. An “independently verified” evidence response does not mean the i5 Benchmark score itself has been independently verified.

4. No certification

No score, maturity level, report or platform statement grants certification, conformity, accreditation or permission to use a certification mark.

5. No legal compliance claim

The platform does not test all requirements applicable to any organisation or jurisdiction. Users must obtain qualified legal, regulatory, technical and assurance advice where needed.

6. Standards references

Mappings to standards and frameworks are interpretive, high-level and non-exhaustive. They are not legal or certification advice, do not establish equivalence and do not reproduce proprietary standard text.

7. Decision use

Results are best used to structure dialogue, identify evidence needs and prioritise further investigation. Do not use a score as the sole basis for investment, employment, procurement, regulatory or public-policy decisions.

8. Publication

Demo rankings are illustrative. Organisation scores must not be published by i5 Benchmark without explicit consent and appropriate context.
